The Associated Students Legal Services provides legal help to MSU students that have paid the activity fee. Sorry, we cannot provide legal help to others. Legal assistance is provided for MSU students on landlord-tenant issues, family law issues, and criminal problems.

Make an appointment by visiting Room 281 of the Strand Union Building on the Montana State University campus. You must bring your student identification card. You should also bring all documents related to your legal problem.

You must be a student of Montana State University - Bozeman and must have paid the student activity fee for us to help you. Sorry, we cannot provide legal help if you are not a student who has paid the activity fee.

You are responsible for a $7.50 fee and courts costs.
